Dandolo - private residence
There is a moment when light ceases to be a function and becomes a presence. The Dandolo chandelier, Rezzonico model with 18 lights, is that moment: a work of Venetian blown glass that transforms a private residence into a small suspended Venice.
Antiqued crystal returns warm and deep reflections, as if filtered by time, that settle on the walls of the house animated by paintings and frames, lighting up every corner of the room with shades. Flowers and fruits in glass paste bloom along the arms with the chromatic vivacity of the Murano tradition, while hundreds of blown elements — pendants, leaves, scrolls — cover the metal structure forged by hand by expert artisans. Every detail comes from the same techniques handed down in furnaces for generations: nothing is serial, everything is a gesture.
